Edward Lee Brown, 54, departed this life on Friday, July 5, 2013, at his residence in Bowling Green, Virginia. Edward was born July 31, 1958, in Caroline County to the late Matilda Louise Shepherd and Frank Albert Brown.

He leaves to cherish fond memories his wife, Deborah Brown, one daughter, Amy Brown (Teddy), one son, Brian Brown; and one grandson, Devron Brown all of Milford, Virginia; three sisters, Shirley Brown (Steve), Dorothy Berry and Delores Brown (Frankie) all of Milford, Virginia; two brothers, Frank Brown (Sandra) and John Brown (Letisha); one aunt, Mildred Shepherd of Milford, Virginia; one uncle, Melvin Shepherd of Paoli, Pennsylvania; three nieces, five nephews and a host of other relatives and devoted friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Shepherd.

A visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 and one hour before the service on Thursday.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 127 South Main Street, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
