Doris Pyles, 66, of Bowling Green, departed this life on Monday, March 15, 2010, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Doris is the daughter of Ester Maude Green Shepherd and the late Warren Hardy Ferguson.

She is survived by her husband, Willie Pyles, her mother, Ester Maude Shepherd, one brother, Robert H. Ferguson all of Bowling Green, Virginia; three aunts, one uncle, l niece and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 19, from noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia and one hour before the service at the church on Saturday.

The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, at Second Baptist Church, 26725 Ruther Glen Road, Ruther Glen, Virginia 22546. Rev. Arthur Wert, pastor, will deliver the eulogy. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
