Donna Lynette Pollard was born February 12, 1962 in Fredericksburg Virginia and departed this life May 14,2018 at Mary Washington Hospital Fredericksburg, Virginia. Donna is preceded in death by her father and mother John and Jean Pollard, and one brother Thaddeus (Pete boy) Pleasants and one sister Robin Pollard.

Donna was a member of Beth'el  Baptist Church and was baptized at a early age. She taught Sunday school and Small Group Class and was a member of the Youth Ministry.  She assisted with the transportation ministry, hospitality ministry and the nursing home ministry and remained active up until the time of her death.  She loved being around children, helping with her younger nieces and nephews.  She had worked 28 years with Public Works until she passed. Donna was a dear sister ,aunt, cousin, friend and was loved by all.

Donna is survived by her brother Willis Pleasants (Juanita); one sister Carolyn Yvette Pollard; three aunts, Sydney Rutherford, Barbara Sue  Pleasants ( Richard) and Anna "Jarrett" Pollard; one uncle Sandy Pollard (Gladys) two nieces Monique Pollard (Carlton) and Ebony Pollard (Demitric); three nephews Geron Pleasants, Robert "RJ' Broaddus, Marcellus Edler (Laisha);  a devoted cousin Tina Minor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A viewing  will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday May,25, 2018 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 26,2018 at Beth'el Baptist Church, 103 Ennis Street Bowling Green, Virginia, with viewing one hour prior to the service.

Internment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
