We have come together today at the call of death, an event that is constantly occurring around us. Seldom has death caused such genuine sorrow and regret among so many as that of Donald who departed this life on Monday, October 19, 2015. Donald James Beverly was born on November 28, 1984 in Washington ,D. C. to Susan Beverly-Miles and the late Robert Anderson. Donald was born a twin to David Beverly.

Donald was raised in Washington, D. C. and attended District of Columbia Public Schools. His family moved to Woodbridge, Virginia where he graduated from Potomac Senior High School. Donald had participated in ROTC and the Young Marines. After high school, Donald attended Potomac Job Corps studying cement masonry and Woodrow Wilson Educational Center where he studied carpentry and wood works. Donald held several positions, Goodwill Industries, JC Penney, Labor Ready, Shockey Precast and Zenith Aviation in Fredericksburg, Virginia. However, due to his disabilities, his work experience was limited.

Donald confessed his faith in God by joining Mount Tabor Baptist Church in Milford, Virginia.

Donald was a very caring and loving spirit and a devoted brother to his twin. You would always see him smiling. he assisted relatives, neighbors and strangers with almost every tasks from taking in groceries to help fixing up homes. He loved fishing and going to the beach. His best friends were his brothers and his niece. Donald had a close relationship with each family member and friends with whom he grew up with during his younger years.

To cherish fond memories he leaves his mother, Susan Miles and step-father James Miles. four brothers; his twin David, Kevin, Cedric and Duncan, three sisters; Sonya, Tina and Sheila; one step-sister, Melissa; niece and best friend Briana; two other nieces, Kyya and Aniya; one nephew, Lil Kevin, whom Donald was helping to raise; aunts, Shirley, Betty, Kathy (Carl),Joann (John) and Jackie; one uncle, Franklin (Katharina); great aunts Dorothy, Vernell (Anthony),Eleanor and Alice; great uncles; Raymond (Florence)and Ed (Maggie); cousins; Willie, Timothy, Sherry, Cynthia, Tashae, Frankie, LaTinya, Ciara, Debbie, Jennifer, John, Clayton, Shalania, Courtney,, Ashley, Darius and Veronica; special friends; Clarence, Freddie, Tony, E, Amber, Kia, Chauntice and Jessica; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Donald will be deeply missed by each and everyone of us.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday , October 27, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Virginia 22514 with a viewing from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
