Donald Eugene Berry was born on June 12, 1958 to the late Clifton and Nellie Stewart Berry. Donald was educated in Caroline County Public Schools. Donald accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and he joined First Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Newtown, Va. He was employed by Foreign & Domestic Woods, Inc., Williamsburg Lumber Mill, and Ball Lumber Co.
On Saturday, October 27, 2012, at 7:00a.m., Donald Eugene Berry departed this life and quietly entered into eternal rest.
Donald leaves to cherish his fond memories; his devoted and loving wife , Dorothy Brown Berry of Bowling Green; one son, Donald Eugene Berry, Jr., of South Carolina; one devoted step daughter, Cathy Gillis (Tracey) of Bowling Green; one stepson, Kenneth Brown of Bowling Green; one goddaughter, Amiya Thomas of Bowling Green; four sisters, Mary Deyo of Newtown, Va., Daisey Deyo of Woodbridge, Va., Priscilla Ann Coleman of Washington, D.C., Marian Estelle Berry of Alexandria, Va.; four brothers, Raymond Berry of Bowling Green, Richard Berry (Virginia) of Sparta, Va., Elvin Berry (Iva) of Bowling Green, James Berry (Wynette) of North Carolina; three aunts, Elizabeth and Leverta Stewart of Tappahannock, Va., and Odell Martin of Richmond, Va.; one great aunt, Meta Dishman, three grandchildren, Traci and Cameron Gillis of Bowling Green, and Tyrone Brown of Woodbridge, Va.; three sisters-in-law, Shirley Brown (Steve), Delores Brown (Frankie) and Olepha Shepherd all of Bowling Green, Va.; three brothers-in-law, Frank Brown (Sandra), John (Letisha) and Edward Brown, all of Bowling Green; four devoted friends, Bernard Byrd, Darrell Cobb, Bernard Anderson, Stoney Monroe, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
