Delores  Juanita Turner, born om May, 22, 1950 to the late Forest and Ruth Turner Green of Caroline County, Virginia. On Monday, August 14, 2023 at Bowling Green Health and Rehabilitation Center, Delores entered eternal rest where she found peace and comfort.

Delores received her education in Caroline County Public School System. She accepted Christ at an early age and later moved to Lynchburg, Virginia where she  lived over fifty years until her health began to fail.

Delores was a loving, kindhearted, active and dedicated member of the Mount Sinai Baptist Church. While serving there she served as a usher, trustee, on the hospitality committee, sung in the choir and was very active missionary member.

She worked for Parker Hannifin Company for over thirty seven years. She retired in 2019 and after retirement she worked for the daycare at the church in Lynchburg. She was loving caregiver and never complained.

Delores leaves to cherish her loving memory brothers; Calvin Turner (Shelia) of Ruther Glen, Virginia Lenwood Turner (Sandra) and Lewis Green (Deanna) both of of Fredericksburg, Virginia, sisters; Shirley Childs (Wayne) Mary Childs (Roscoe)  both of Milford, Virginia and Ruth Coleman of Ashland, Virginia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousin and devoted friends of Madison Heights, Virginia.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Third Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 9132 Fredericksburg Turnpike Woodford, Virginia 22580 with a viewing one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery on 13121 Woodford Road, Woodford, Virginia  22580
