Obituary

Delores Alberta Brown affectionately known as Moma, Lois, Puddin, & Lil "D" was born August 21,1957 to the late Frank and Matilda Brown.

On June 1, 2021, Lois departed this life and quietly entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Matilda Brown, grandmother, Alberta Brown, four brothers, Charles Shepherd, Frank Brown, Edward Brown, and John Brown, two sisters, Dorothy Berry, and Cynthia Ferguson.
Lois graduated from Bowling Green Senior High School in1975. She was employed by Keller Industries and Tallant Industries, Inc. for many years until she retired.
She joined Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age where she served on the Choir and the Usher Board.
She was a loving and giving individual to everyone she came in contact with, no one she came in contact with was a stranger, she would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it.
You could often find her preparing meals to share with others whether it was in her home, at work or in the community.
Lois loved to entertain people and work in the yard where she tended many rose gardens and other various types of flowers that she shared with others. She would share stories about riding the motorcycle with "Honey" and the motorcycle club cross country.
She leaves cherished fond memories to one son, Raheem "Kevin" Pleasant, a devoted Fiance' Richard "Frankie" Chapman, a devoted sister, Shirley Brown, three sister-in-laws, Sandra Brown, Ophelia Shepherd, and Letisha Brown, one brother-in-law, Steve Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A walk through viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday June 4, 2021 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 127 South Main Street, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Caroline High School Stadium, 19155 Rogers Clark Boulevard, Milford, Virginia 22514.
Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Wrightsville Road, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427
Due to COVID-19 a face covering or mask is required.
