Cynthia Diane Ware, 47, formerly of Caroline County, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 2, 2014, at her home in Ashland, Virginia.

Cynthia was born March 15,1967 in Richmond,Va to Joan Ware and Billy Childs.She was raised by her foster parents the late Lawrence W. Fortune,Sr. and Evelyn Fortune. She was then cared for by her devoted Godmother Bertha Inez Fortune.

Cynthia was a caregiver to the ederly. Her many hobbies included shopping,avid reader,getting her nails done and having a good time.Cynthia and her chihuahua "Stinky" was well known on the streets of Ashland,Va. "Stinky" was truly loved by her.

Cynthia was preceded in death by her youngest son Jahaun J. Ware,God sister Evelyn Denise Fortune, nephew, Sha-hem A. Ware,uncles,Otis and John Ware,aunts, Norma W. Hedgmon and Jennie Lee W. Johnson. Her loving and devoted fiance' James Braxton.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother Joan Ware Stith of Bowling Green her father Billy Childs of Ruther Glen.A daughter,Tamara L. Ware(Sherrie Dorsey) of Fredicksburg,Va a son Aaron B. Robinson (Barthaniel Robinson)of Bowling Green, Va. Two sisters Rose Ann Stith Dandrige and Cynthia E. Ware Cox both of Fredericksburg, Va. A God sister Carrie L. Chamberlain, God brother George M. Fortune. Three uncles Clemon,Namon and Jimmie Ware. A host of nieces,and one great niece. Caregivers Peggy Wilson of Fredericksburg,Va and Viola Childs of Ruther Glen, Va.

A visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m.,Friday May 9,at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home 16476 Richmond Turnpike,Bowling Green and at the church one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 10,at the St. Stephens Baptist Church,29346 Sparta Road, Milford,with the Rev.Christopher Stevens delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at the church cemetery.
