Clinton Elex "Junnie" Taylor, Jr., formerly of Caroline County, departed this life on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Southside Virginia Training Center, in Petersburg, Virginia. He was born to Gracie G. Taylor and the late Clinton A. Taylor, Sr. on February 13, 1962.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted mother, Gracie G. Taylor; two brothers, Patrick Taylor of Henrico, VA and Raymond Taylor of Spotslvania, VA; four sisters, Gloria Taylor and Joyce Childs, both of Milford, VA, Diane Stevens of Bowling Green, VA Viola Taylor of Woodford, VA; two brothers-in-law, Clarence Childs of Milford, VA and Rev. Christopher Stevens of Bowling Green, VA; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Taylor; five aunts, two uncles, and a host of nieces, hephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and devoted staff
members of Southside Virginia Training Center.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 28, from noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, VA 22427 and one hour before service at the church on Tuesday. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.

A homegoing celebration will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 29 at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Shumansville, VA 22550, with Rev. Antonio Clinkscales officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
