Rev. Christopher C. Lee, 79, of Milford, Virginia, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 18, 2009, at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.

He is survived by Jeanetta, his loving wife of 55 years; four children, Dr. Christopher M. (Stephanie), Col (Ret) Irvin B. (Chandra), COL Terry M. (Angel) Minister Jeaneta L.; an uncle, Edward Taylor; three half brothers, Alvin West (Myrtle), John M., Jr. (Pam), Wilson (Renate), and a half sister, Melvina; seven grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at St. John Baptist Church, 17080 South River Road, Woodford, VA with Rev. Dr. W. G. Berryman, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 22, 2009 from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 P. M. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home followed by a Christian Wake from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at St. John Baptist Church.
