Christopher Keith Stevens, Jr., affectionately called "Keisey", was born December 2, 1978, in Caroline County, Virginia. He transitioned to his heavenly home on August 7, 2020 at Henrico Doctors Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. Keisey was educated in Caroline County Public Schools and furthered his education at Old Dominion University. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. James Baptist Church in Milford, Virginia.

Keisey was employed doing what he liked best--communicating or simply talking to others with an emphasis on helping people. He was employed by Verizon for several years and later transferred to Allianz where he worked as a team leader until his brief illness. He was loved and respected by his team as well as other colleagues and was known for his dedication, bright smile, humor and professionalism. Keisey was also a loving caregiver for his mother and father and took pride in helping wherever and whenever he was needed.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Alice and Clarence Stevens and maternal grandparents, Garland and Margie Coleman and Sarah Childs.

Keisey leaves cherished memories to his father, Reverend Christopher K. Stevens, Sr. and stepmother, Diane; his mother, Cynthia C. Stevens Graham and stepfather, Jimmy; partner, Leslie Fulbright; five brothers, Antione Graham, Marcus Taylor (Quintina), Deron Taylor (Nakisha), Jayquan (Brittany) and Scorpio Stevens; Godparents, Alma Tillman, Rosalind "Russell" Carter, Towanda Simmons and Clayton Simmons; eight nieces, three nephews, one great nephew; grandparents, James Childs of Bowling Green, Virginia and Gracie Taylor of Milford, Virginia; aunts, Joan Ware (Johnnie) of Fort Washington, Maryland, Minister Anita Alsop (James) of North Carolina, Minister Chandra Atkins (Reverend Philip Atkins) of Hanover, Virginia, Carolyn Jones of Ladysmith, Virginia, Brenda Coleman Monroe of Hopewell, Virginia, Melanie Dunton (Mike) of Richmond, Virginia, Gloria Taylor of Bowling Green Virginia, Joyce Childs (Clarence) of Milford, Virginia, Viola Taylor of Woodford, Virginia, Florence "Nicey" Graham of Temple Hills, Maryland, Yvette Jones (Willie) of LaPlata, Maryland, Angela Haritridge (Robert) of Temple Hills, Maryland; uncles, David James (Joan) of Richmond, Virginia, Reverend Bryan Stevens (Jannette) of Powhatan, Virginia, Andre Stevens (Anna) of Richmond, Virginia, Kevin Coleman (Barbara) of Richmond, Virginia, Alvester Coleman (Lisa) of Milford, Virginia, Reverend Chandler Coleman (Charita) of Bowie, Maryland, Waverly Coleman (Sabrina) of Dallas, Texas, Tyrone Childs of Bowling Green, Virginia, and Patrick Taylor of Richmond, Virginia; devoted and special friends, LaShanta Sullivan, Geneva Boone, Annie Mae Gibbs, Allen Hayden, Tony White and Tommy Ruffin , DeWitt Ewing, Monte Davis, Jason Kisson and Torry; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday August 14, 2020 at C.W.Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at St. James Baptist Church, 19514 Sparta Road, Milford, Virginia 22514. Interment will follow in  church cemetery.
