Charles Robert Johnson was called back home to be with God on February 12, 2017. Charles was affectionately known as "Charlie" leaves to cherish his memories, his parents Paul and Candra Johnson, Jr.; two sisters, Tiamira and Remiah Johnson; one brother, Paul Johnson, III; maternal grandparents, Gertie (James) Johnson, and Charles (Sandra) Bowman; paternal grandparents, Joyce ( William ) Taylor and Paul (Lorie) Johnson, Sr.; paternal great-grandparents, Robert and Ernestine Johnson; five uncles; Terry, Marty and Ricky Johnson, Jonathan Shepherd, Sr. and Devon (Nita) Carter; two aunts, Tiffany Johnson and Rosalin (Adam) Carter; great aunts, Vivian, Elaine (Douglas), and Vanessa (Melvin) Wright; two great uncles, Kevin (Michelle) and Robbie (Tonya); godmother, Ashley Christiansen and a host of cousins and extended family.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m.on Friday, February 17, 2017 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2018 at Mount Tabor Baptist Church 21795 Mattaponi Trail, Milford, Virginia 22514
