Charles Henry Coleman's Obituary
Charles H. Coleman departed this life on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Capital Hospice Center in Arlington, Virginia.
He was born May 26, 1937, in Sparta, Virginia, to the late Trip and Lelia Coleman.
Charles, as he was affectionately known, received his education in Caroline County Schools. He enlisted in the U. S. Military where he served two years of active duty.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Valerie and Lelia Belinda Coleman; two sons, Derrick and Aaron Coleman; three brothers, Harry, George and Frank Coleman; one sister, Mary McManus; 17 grandchildren, great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, 4 nieces, 6 nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, from noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc.,16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, VA 22427.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. on Friday, March 20, at the funeral home with the Rev. Jared Beasley officiating. Interment will follow at Jerusalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Sparta.
