Charles Eric "Donnie" Baylor,  formerly of Caroline County, Virginia, died on Monday, April 14, 2014, at home in Laurel, Maryland.

Donnie was the son of Emily Rollins Baylor and the late Charles A. Baylor.  He was born in Washington, D.C., June 5, 1966.  He received his education in the public schools of Washington, D.C. where he resided for twelve years.  He graduated from Caroline High School in 1984.  He attended Norfolk State University and recieved a degree in Architect Engineering.  He was employed at the U.S. Capital in Washington, D.C. as an Engineering Technician Architect.

Donnie is survived by his devoted mother, Emily Rollins Baylor; one sister, Crystal B. Cary and her husband, Stacy, all of Bowling Green; one niece, Zipporah Cary; one nephew, Zion Cary; one adopted sister, Pamela W. Smith; six aunts; six uncles and a host of other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday, April 18, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.

A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at Shiloh Baptist Church, 127 S. Main Street, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.  Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
