Carrie B. Saunders, 100, of Bowling Green, Va., went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 1, 2013 at the Bowling Green Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Saunders is survived by four sons, Joseph, James, Edward and Alonzo Saunders, and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Saunders, Sr., one son, Bernard L. Saunders and one daughter, Shirley S. Foxx.

A viewing will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Friday, December 6, at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427, followed by a christain wake from 6 to 8 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church, Main Street, Bowling Green, Virginia.

A homegoing celebration will be held at noon Saturday, December 7, at the church with Rev. Irving Woolfolk, Jr. delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Mount Lawn Cemetery, Woodford.
