Carlton Bernard "CB" Rhodes, 57, of Bowling Green, Va., entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Retreat Hospital in Richmond, Va.

Carlton was born on June 25, 1953, in Bedford County, Virginia to the late Bernard and Louella Rhodes.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Adrain and Tristen Fox; adopted daughter, Tina Brown; two sisters, Gloria Rhodes (Maxie) and Sherrie Samuel (Herman); one brother, Wilburn Rhodes (Cynthia); four aunts, Lucy Rhodes, Mable Cunningham, Cleta Hill and Jean Herbert; one great aunt, Lucille Merritte; two uncles, John Thomas Floyd, Sr. and Robert Herbert; six grandchildren, two nieces, Chevonne Rhodes (John) and Martina Green Rhodes; four nephews, Tyree Rhodes, Tyrone Rhodes, Lamonte Rhodes and Wilburn Rhodes, Jr.; one great niece, Tesia' Stevens; a devoted friend, Nancy Carter and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be held Thursday, November 18, from noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia. A homegoing celebration will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 19, at the funeral home.
