Bryant Edward Walker, 53, known to all as "Bryan," of Woodford, VA, departed this life suddenly on Saturday, May 23, 2020. Bryan was born February 28, 1967 to Charles Walker and Esther Lewis.
Bryan went to school in Caroline County and received his education there. He worked as a Concrete Finisher at Oldcastle Infrastructure for the last 2 years and previously worked for Affordable Concrete as a Foreman for 10 years. He also held various part-time jobs including Food Lion (Ladysmith), and McDonald's (Ladysmith/Carmel Church).
Bryan was a fun-loving, free-spirit who loved everyone he came in to contact with. He was a great provider and protector over his family and friends and he touched many lives. His family meant the world to him and the bond they shared could not be replaced. Bryan loved going to cookouts, listening and dancing to his GoGo music, talking trash and was the life of every party.
To continue his legacy of love and fond memories, he is survived by his wife: Crystal Jones Walker of Spotsylvania, VA; four children,Toronto Eura of Fredericksburg, VA., DeShaun Hunter of Caroline County, VA., Toshima Brown of Fredericksburg, VA. and Tanisha Butler of Louisa, VA; three step-kids, Dylan, Lamar, and Kristen Jones of Spotsylvania, VA, four grandkids; Toronto Eura, Jr., Khylin Davidson, Dallas Hunter, and Kru Carter; parents, Charles Walker of Woodford, VA and Esther Henson (Melvin) of Chesterfield, VA; two brothers: Kevin Lewis (Teresa) of Fredericksburg, VA and Stacey Walker of Woodford, VA, three sisters: Angela Johnson (Kelvin) of Woodford, VA, Aisha Cokley (Roger) of Fredericksburg VA, and Sharonda Lewis of Charlotte, NC ; a special friend, Nickole Derricotte; 10 nieces, 6 nephews, 5 great-nieces, 6 great-nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc; 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the funeral home with a viewing one hour before the service. Interment will follow in Turner Family Burial Ground, Cedon Road, Woodford, Virginia
