Boyd Linwood Jones' Obituary
Boyd Linwood Jones, 80, of Bowling Green, Va. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 7th at his residence.
He was born February 1, 1931 to the late Hampton and Virginia Jones of Caroline County.
Survivors include six children; Theresa M. Jackson, Robert B. Jones of Spotsylvania, Vegina Jones Pratt and Tracy Jones both of Bowling Green, Robin Jones Foster and Hamilton (Renae) Jones Roye both of Richmond; one sister, Judith Budd of Bowling Green; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one daugher-in-law; two sons-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. His beloved wife of 44 years, Hazel Coleman Jones, preceded him in death.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 13, from noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at First Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 17065 Seals Road, Sparta, Virginia 22552 with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
