Beverly Ann Johnson Miles, affectionately known as "Moma," "Grandma," "Gigi," "Poochie," "Pooper," and "Beverly Ann" to most, entered eternal rest on Saturday, May 21, 2023, at her daughter's home. Beverly was born on September 3, 1952, to the late Robert Johnson, Jr. and Betty Baylor Johnson.  Preceded in death by three uncle, James Baylor, Eugie L. Baylor, and Kenneth W. Baylor; three aunts, Mildred A. Totten, Victoria C. Baylor, and Addie D. Cox.

On February 19, 1970, Beverly and then husband, Henry N. Miles, Sr., were blessed with a beautiful daughter, Ellen. Beverly joined Bethel Baptist Church at an early age and rededicated her life at an older age where she served on the Usher Board.

Beverly worked as a laborer at Keller's Industries in Milford, VA; Quality Control Inspector at Bendix in McLean, VA; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Bowling Green Healthcare Center in Bowling Green, VA; a Food Services Worker at Fort A.P. Hill; a Cafeteria Worker at Caroline High School; and a Custodian for the Caroline County Administration Offices in Bowling Green VA and University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA.  Following her retirement she cared for her great-grandson, Noah.

To know Beverly was to love her. With her kind and generous heart, she was known for her wisdom and her integrity.  Beverly would go above and beyond for her family or close friends by displaying her willingness to assist when she was able to.  She was the life of the party and loved to have a good time with the people she loved. She encouraged people to be the best of themselves despite what others may have thought.

Beverly leaves in cherished memories to her loving daughter, Ellen N. Miles- Simms; two granddaughters, Jasmine "Punkin" Thomas- Miles and AshLee A. Simms; one great-grandson, Noah A. Simms; two siblings Daryl "Runchie" Johnson, Sr, and Donna Lynn Wilson; four uncles Ernest E. Baylor Jr (Shirley), Gene "Ricky" Baylor, William B.
