Obituary

Beverly Ann Coleman was born to the late Roger and Fannie Mae Coleman on May 18,1960 in Caroline County, Virginia.

Beverly received her education in Caroline County Public School System.
In 1980 Beverly married the late Tim Studvent and had three children; Tim, Joshua and Latasha Studvent.

Beverly was a very kind, outspoken, strong and loving person. She loved making others laugh by telling jokes. She enjoyed shopping, visiting the casino and eating out. Her family meant the world to her, especially her children and grandchildren. Beverly had a strong bond with her sisters, two of whom worked alongside her at several jobs over the years. Beverly worked at Automatic Rolls in Fredericksburg, Virginia for 10 years until she relocated to Denver, Colorado in 1999. There, she began her employment at Mile Hi Bakery until her health began to fail.

Beverly stayed strong and fought her battle like a champ. Latasha, her daughter, was her caregiver and fought alongside her until the very end, Surrounded by family and friends, Beverly departed this life and entered into eternal peace on June 12, 2016 at her home in Glen Allen, Virginia.

To cherish her memory, Beverly leaves behind her children, Latasha Studvent of Glen Allen, Virginia, Joshua Studvent (Cheryl) of Bowling Green, Virginia and Tim Studvent (Shandel) of Champlain, Virginia; four grandchildren, Destinee Buckner, Harmaniee Buckner, Avontae Studvent and Jasmine Studvent; three sisters, Elsie Johnson ( Keith, Sr.)of Milford, Virginia, Shirley Coleman (Vincent) of Supply, Virginia and Earlene Richards (Robert) of Ladysmith, Virginia; six brothers John Coleman, Eddie Coleman (Danetta ) of Tappahannock, Virginia, Charlie Coleman (Barbara) of King George, Virginia, Harry Coleman (Carolyn) of Supply, Virginia, Louis Coleman of Milford , Virginia and Roy Coleman of Ladysmith, Virginia. Two brothers Rodney and Amos Coleman preceded her in death. She also leaves five aunts Lola Henson (George) of Palmyra, New Jersey, Helen Morgan of Trenton, New Jersey, Addie Fortune of Port Royal, Virginia, Gladys Johnson( Malchia) of Milford, Virginia, Emma Childs of Bowling Green, Virginia and host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Her dearly devoted friend and caregiver, Patrick Jones of Aurora Colorado.

A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2016 at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home , 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 and one hour before the service at the church.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 3207 Quarter Hill Road, Supply, Virginia 22436. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
