Betty Lou William, 76, formerly of Caroline County, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.

She was born April 12, 1936, in Balty to the late Joseph and Alberta Wright.

Survivors include three daughters, Linda Bennett (James), Beverly Bertrand (Norman Sr.) and Cynthia Bennett (Thomas); two sons, Calvin Bennett (Della) and Edgar Bennett; twelve grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia and one hour before the service at the church on Thursday.

The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at St. John Baptist Church, 17080 South River Road, Woodford, Virginia 22580. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Milford, Virginia.
