Betty Baylor Johnson, 76, of Bowling Green, Virginia died on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at her residence.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Beverly J. Miles and Donna J. Wilson; one son, Daryl L. Johnson, Sr.; five grandchildren, Ellen N. Miles-Simms, Kelly D. Wilson, Kayla D. Wilson, Daryl L. Johnson, Jr., and Denzel A. Johnson; two great grandchildren, Jasmine A. Thomas-Miles and Ashlee A. Simms; five brothers, Eugie Baylor, Ernest Baylor, Kenneth Baylor, Gene Baylor and William Jenkins, Jr.; four sisters, Addie Cox, Frances Samuel, Virginia Person and Dorothy Collins; one uncle, Nathaniel Foster; one daughter-in-law, Janice Baylor; four sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn Baylor, Priscilla Baylor, Shirley Baylor and Victoria Baylor; three brothers-in-law, Allie Cox, John Samuel and Marion Person; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The remains may be viewed Friday, November 7, from noon to 8 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 103 Ennis Street, Bowling Green, Virginia 22427 and one hour before service on Saturday.
A homegoing celebration will be held Saturday, November 8, at 2:30 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Bowling Green, Virginia, with the Rev. Kevin Childs, officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Lawn Cemetery in Woodford, Virginia.
