Belinda Ann "Cissy" Johnson- McCardell, 47, of Woodford, Virginia entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Golden Living, Fredericksburg, Virginia.
"Cissy" was born on August 11, 1965 to Brenda and the late, Deacon Clyde F. Johnson in Richmond, Virginia. She attended Caroline Public Schools and graduated in 1983. She also attended Virginia State University and received an associate degree in Art.
She received Christ at an young age and was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church, Woodford, Virginia.
Belinda is survived by her husband, Eugene McCardell, Jr. and mother-in-law, Ms. Jennifer McCardell of Fresno, Texas; her mother, Brenda Johnson of Woodford; two daughters, Kaleysa Dandridge and Alayah Johnson McCardell of Ruther Glen; one son, Alex Eugene McCardell; two sisters, Bridgette Moffett of Fredericksburg and Carla Johnson of Ruther Glen; one god sister, Breta Myers of Ruther Glen; one devoted brother-in-law, Frederick Moffett;and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A viewing will be held from noon to 8 p.m., Friday, May 10, at Zion Grove Baptist Church, 9450 Fredericksburg Turnpike, Woodford, Virginia 22580, with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Zion Grove Baptist church with viewing one hour before the service. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
