Areillie Patricia "Patsy" Carter
Areillie Patricia Carter, 68, of Temple Hills, Maryland, formerly of Bowling Green, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 surrounded by her family at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital.
Survivors include her husband Melvin Carter, Sr., sons LaMond Roye (Jennifer) and Melvin Carter, Jr.; daughter Anita LaSha Smith; brother, Robert B. Roye (Martha). She is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, newphews other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 16, 2015 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 127 South Main Street, Bowling Green, VA. 22427 with viewing one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Lawn Cemetery, Woodford, Virginia.
A visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, from 12 noon to 8 p.m. at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, VA 22427 with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m.
