Annie Latney Winfrey, 80, of Bowling Green, Va. (Formally of Alexandria, Va.) departed this life on Thursday, May 13, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, Va. after a brief illness.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharonne Monroe of Alexandria, Va., two brothers, Willie Latney of Connecticut, and Herman Latney of Bowling Green, Va.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 17th, from noon to 8pm at C.W. Edwards Funeral Home, Inc., 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Va., 22427 and also one hour before service time on Tuesday. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, May 18th, 11am at St. James Baptist Church, 19514 Sparta Road, Milford, Va., 22514 with Rev. Dr. Charles F. Baugham, Pastor officiating. Interment in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
