Alva Louise Totten, 76 of Bowling Green, Virginia entered eternal rest on Friday, October 13, 2017 at her residence.

Affectionately known as "Meadie" to family and friends, she is survived by her devoted son, Jamie L. Totten and daughter-in-law, Deborah, of Chesterfield, Virginia; granddaughter, Nekia Parker; grandson, Jaime Totten; sister, Juliet Freeman; brother, John Childs and a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 20, 2017 at C. W. Edwards Funeral Home, 16476 Richmond Turnpike, Bowling Green, Virginia and one hour prior to the funeral on Saturday.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. James Baptist Church, 19514 Sparta Road, Milford, Virginia. Interment will be in the Church cemetery.
