Allen Bernard Ross, 69, was born in Fredericksburg, Virginia on August 26, 1955. He departed this life on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at his sister's home in Woodford, Virginia. He was the son of the late Phillip Lloyd Ross and Lois Virginia Edwards Ross.

Bernard gave his life to Christ at a very early age and was baptized at Mt. Hope Baptist Church in Brooke, Virginia. In 1973 Bernard graduated from James Monroe High School in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Bernard is survived by one son, Renard Allen Ross of Newport News, five sisters, Jacqueline (Thomas) Victory of Richmond, Virginia; Pamela Ross of Fredericksburg, Virginia; Janice (Marquis) Sampson of Petersburg, Virginia; Paula (Patrick) Williams of Woodford, Virginia; Annette (Robert) Parker also of Woodford, Virginia, two brothers,  Anthony (Kimmie) Ross of Riverdale Georgia; Phillip Ross of Fredericksburg, Virginia; four grandchildren, Peyton Ross, Bryson Ross, Myles Ross, Hendrix Ross, too many nieces and nephews to count, and a host of cousins and friends.

Bernard is also survived by two special friends Ricky Baylor and Brenda Sullivan.

A Memorial service will be held at Zion Grove Baptist Church, 9450 Fredericksburg Turnpike, Woodford, Virginia on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
